Dotted with rocky hills and snow-clad peaks, Lahaul and Spiti are two isolated Himalayan valleys of Himachal Pradesh lying on the Indo-Tibet border. Lauhal, a land of enchanting Buddhist art and culture, is marked by imposing mountains and glaciers. Spiti is renowned as Little Tibet since its landscape, vegetation, and climate are akin to that of Tibet. Lahaul and Spiti should be ideally visited between the months of June to October. Guru Ghantal Monastery :- Believed to be the oldest Gompa of Lahaul, this wooden structure with pyramidal roofs and wood carving preserves the idols of Padmasambhava and Brajeshwari Devi.
Gondla :- This village in Lahaul valley celebrates a fair in the month of July that draws a large number of tourists. Other attractions of the village are the historical Gompa and the 8-storied Gondla castle or fort. Constructed in 1700 AD, the fort is the residence of the Thakur of Gondla.
Kye Monastery :- This is the oldest and the biggest monastery of Spiti. It is decorated with beautiful scriptures and paintings of Lord Buddha and other Goddesses. The Lamas sing, practice dance, and play on pipes and horns here.
Kunzum Pass :- Kunzum pass is the gateway to Spiti from Kulu and Lahaul. There is a temple perched at the top of this Pass dedicated to Goddess Durga. Nearby is the stunning Bara-Sigri glacier, the second longest glacier in the world.
Trilokinath Temple:- Trilokinath Temple is one of the most beautiful temples in Lahaul-Spiti and is a popular pilgrimage site. An ancient temple, and a revered site for both Hindus and Buddhists, the temple is located on top of a hillock near the Chenab River. It is mostly noted for its scenic locale. The temple is known for its exquisite wood carvings, and while it is worshiped as a temple of Lord Shiva by the Hindus, the Buddhists worship the beautiful white marble idol image of the Avalokteshvara. The closest town is Udaipur and thousands of tourists visit the temple in the month of August when a three day festival called Pauri is celebrated in the temple.
Chander taal lake:- Chander Taal (meaning the Lake of the Moon), or Chandra Tal, is situated at an altitude of about 4,300 meters (14,100 ft) in the Himalayas. Mountains of screed overlook the lake on one side, and a magnificent cirque presents a view on the other. The name of the lake originates from its crescent shape. Situated in the Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh (India), Chandra Taal is a popular destination for trekkers and campers.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01       Reception at Delhi & Drive to Manali(575 Km)
(Reception at Delhi, meet our representative, then and drive to manali. A drive 13 hrs will reach you Manali. After reaching Manali Check in to hotel)
Day 02      Manali – Rohtang pass - Kelong (120Km)
(After Breakfast, Move to Rohtang Pass. Enjoy the day at the top of Rohtang Pass and further move to Kelong. After reaching kelong check into hotel for overnight stay)
Day 03       Kelong – Udaipur – Triokinath - Kelong (95 Km)
(After Breakfast, full day excursion in Lauhal valley. Visit Mirkla Mata and Trilokinath temple and meeting point of River Chander and Bhagga at Tandi)
Day 04       Kelong - Bataal (165 Km)
(Early in the morning after Breakfast move to Bataal. A run of 5 hrs will reach Bataal.Enjoy the night in camp)
Day 05       Batal – Chandertaal - Kaza (125 Km)
(Early in the morning after Breakfast Move to Moon lake. A drive of 3-5 hrs will reach you moon lake spend hrs at lake then further move to Kaza- the head quarter of Spiti. After reaching check into hotel.)
Day 06      Kaza - Ki Monastry - Kibber - Kaza (80 Km)
(After Breakfast local sight seen nearby or with in Sapiti valley, Visit ki Monastry etc.)
Day 07     Kaza - Langcha – Kaza (90 Km)
(After Breakfast, In the morning drive to visit beautiful langcha & Komic village. Late afternoon return back to Kaza. Overnight stay at kaza.)
Day 08     Kaza - Dhanker-Lalung - Kaza (120 Km)
(Located a 3 hour drive from Kaza, Dhankar is the ancient capital of Spiti and seat of the Spitian Kings and is home to their ruined castle as well as a splendid 16th Century Monastery. Situated mid way between Kaza and Tabo it’s slightly of the route on top of a steep sided mountain ridge jutting out over the valley.To properly visit the fort and monastery at Dhanker requires several hours and from Dhanker it is only a short trek to Dhanker Lake, allow for one and a half hours roundtrip hike. We will have lunch in the neighboring village of Lalung. Lalung is home to Lalung Monastry, famous for its beauty and statue of the Three Cornered Buddha. The statue was made with three sides to symbolize the Buddha looking in all directions at once.)
Day 09    Kaza - Tabo – Kaza (95 Km)
(Early in the morning after Breakfast move to famous Tabo Monastry is more than 1010 years old and home to many precious Thanka paintings, including the Pillar of a Thousand Buddhas. The entry to the monastery complex, covering in total 6300square meters, is made of earthen walls with marvelous colorful frescoes inside. The ancient paintings depict the life cycle of The Buddha, and legends from the Jataka Tales and were made in the Tibetan style by artists from Kashmir. Tabo monastery is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is Also called the Ajanta of the Himalayas.)
Day 10     Kaza - Kungri - Pin Valley National Park
 (After breakefast we drive to Pin Valley stopping en route to visit the Kungri Monastery, the chief monastery of the Pin Valley founded by Guru Padmasambhava, it is one of the oldest monasteries in the entire Spiti Area. The monastery is situated on the side of the Pin Valley about 20km from the Kaza road and 4km from Sagnam the principal village of the Pin area and belongs to the Nyingmapa Sect. Lunch In Mudh Village, the last village of Pin Valley and an important point on the trekking routs to Parvati and Kullu valleys in the south.)
Day 11      Pin Valley National Park - Mudh – Kaza
(Early in the morning after breakfast return back to Kaza)
Day 12      Kaza - Rohtang Pass - Manali (205Km)
(Earily in the morning after Breakfast move to Rohtang pass. Enjoy the day at Rohtang pass and move further to Manali. After reaching Manali Check in to Hotel and in evening visit Hidimba tmple)
Day 13      Local Sight seen at Manali

Day 14     Manali - Delhi tour ends here (575 Km)
